Linda has 47 years of experience providing individual, couples and group psychotherapy. She has been in private practice since 1988, with prior experience in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, including 10 years at the prestigious Mayo Clinic. Linda offers a unique combination of psychiatric counseling expertise and formal education as a registered nurse which has allowed her to aid a wide variety of patient issues.
One of Linda’s guiding principles when working with clients is a focus on total patient care, a practice she learned during nurses training. She believes that a comprehensive approach is the most effective when addressing the needs of her patients.
Linda is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist and is licensed by the state of MN as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. She does therapy only and has chosen to not to be a prescriber of medications. If medications are deemed necessary, she will make an appropriate referral for such.
